About Us

ammonite spiral

Based in Cumbria, I am an individual artist specialising in unconventional handmade jewellery. My aim is to create jewellery that enhances who you are. I have a passion for particularly creating wire work, fused glass & chainmail jewellery. I love to draw with wire creating things such as butterflies, wolves, horses, Cumbrian mountains & even bagpipes! I am happy to take on commisioned items, if you want something specially made, I love to take on challenges, so don't be afraid to ask, no matter how unusual your request! Many items are one off pieces that will not be recreated, but there are some items that can be reproduced, albeit with minor variations.

I do sometimes incorporate focal pendants by other artists, such as lampworkers, but the designer will be mentioned  in the description if this is so. Some pieces are also created using simple beading, utilising a variety of beads to do this.

I am  happy to customise items and create bespoke items, ensuring you have something perfect for you & that important occasion. So please simply contact me if you are interested in a customised or bespoke item. ( 'inches' quoted are UK inches, which are approximately 2.5cm)

Payment is by paypal & you can use this service even if you do not have a paypal account. Paypal accepts one off payments with a debit/credit card as a paypal guest.

You can also find some more of my designs at VIEWPOINTS GALLERY in Keswick, Cumbria.

Jewellery Care

Please note that silver plated, gold plated, copper & sterling silver, gold filled wire can all tarnish with time. To avoid this please do not spray perfumes/ body sprays directly onto your jewellery, apply it before placing your jewellery on. Avoid getting it wet & also when not in use, store your item of jewellery in its box. Tarnished jewellery can be cleaned, though, using standard metal polish on the wire & soft cloths on beads/ glass pendants etc.

Wire work necklaces can be difficult to untangle, without stretching/deforming the wire if they become entangled, so please take care when placing them on & always store carefully back in their box to avoid this happening.

If you have any further questions regarding this, then please feel free to contact us.
